At first, there was a love of art. Through an exploration of various media including batik, painting, photography, and drawing, Sonya discovered graphic design…and in love, she fell again.

Sonya honed her skills at Howard University and NYU. With 20 years of experience in design, Sonya has worked in publishing and marketing with clients including Scholastic, Coca-Cola, Diageo, City of Atlanta Bureau of Cultural Affairs, Studio Museum in Harlem, and numerous non-profits. She is a master organizer of visual information with a keen eye for design and detail. With a style all of her own—she finds beauty in bold simplicity, vibrant pops of color, and rhythmic patterns.
